Azana joins Miss South Africa as Top 24 unveiled

Award-winning singer Makhosazana ‘Azana’ Masango is among the standout contestants selected for the Top 24 of Miss South Africa 2026, marking a bold new chapter in the Your Woman hitmaker’s career.

The pageant organisers recently unveiled the 24 hopefuls who will compete for the coveted crown currently held by reigning Miss South Africa Qhawekazi Mazaleni. The Citizen reported that the group features a diverse mix of professionals, entrepreneurs, students and creatives, with Azana’s inclusion generating particular excitement among fans.

From music charts to the pageant stage

Known for her soulful voice and chart-topping hits, Azana is no stranger to the spotlight. However, the singer is now setting her sights on a different stage as she joins the race for one of South Africa’s most prestigious titles.
