The announcement has left many fans surprised, as the pair had often shared glimpses of their relationship on social media.

Ex-girlfriend confirms the split

On Saturday, 25 July, Tamica took to her Instagram page to announce that she and Ashay had decided to part ways, bringing an end to months of speculation surrounding their relationship.

While she did not go into detail about the reasons behind the breakup, she asked followers to respect their privacy as they navigate the change.

Ashay Sewlall responds

Following Tamica’s announcement, Ashay addressed the breakup on social media.

Rather than discussing what led to the split, the former Big Brother Mzansi housemate thanked supporters for their messages and asked fans to refrain from directing negativity towards Tamica.

He made it clear that there was no need for anyone to attack or blame his former partner, encouraging people to respect both of them as they move forward separately.
