Andile Mxakaza steps back into the spotlight with acting lead role

Actor Andile Mxakaza is finally returning to the world of acting with a lead role in a new series.

The seasoned actor, who has gained a lot of attention for his roles in the South African series, has made a name for himself with his dynamic presence and compelling characters and is renowned for his captivating performances in these series.

Taking to his Instagram account, the Isbaya actor wrote, “Don’t miss out on this one, it’s gonna be phenomenal! Look at Msongelwas skin, He is fresh! (followed by crying emojis). He also shared a short clip of the series making his loyal viewers even more excited to watch him.

According to YouthVillage, “The talented actor has just bagged himself a role in an upcoming series, Isthembu Sika Msongelwa. He plays Msongelwa Shange, a polygamous taxi boss who reconnects with his high school sweetheart, Asanda Dlamini, and the sparks fly instantly. The thing is, though, that Msongelwa already has three wives at home.”

The publication further states that viewers should prepare themselves for the drama, humour, and love in the “Isthembu Sika Msongelwa” series, a must-see miniseries that will premiere on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161, Mondays starting at 20:00 on December 16 and on Wednesdays at 21:00 and Sundays at 22:00, you can view the repeats. Catch-Up will also offer the episodes.
