Toya Delazy says the matter was resolved years ago
Taking to social media, Toya said, “I noticed an incident that happened at Gatwick Airport two years ago has suddenly resurfaced online — coincidentally, on the same day I dropped the Phumelela Remix with Nik Nak.”
She added, “Just to fact-check: that incident was resolved two years ago, my passport was returned shortly afterwards, and I received an apology.”
Her statement was aimed at correcting misinformation circulating online and reassuring fans that the situation had long been resolved.

A message about verifying information
Toya also encouraged people to seek information directly from her rather than relying on old or misleading posts circulating online.
“If you want information about me, come to me, sugar. Otherwise you’re going to get lost in the sauce.”
She went on to urge social media users to verify information before sharing it.
“So fact-check the source before you get lost in the sauce. Always fact-check. People will do anything for clout.”
