After the announcement of her resignation earlier in the week, media personality Thando Thabethe said goodbye in an emotional final show on 5FM.

As part of her final link she said in part, “I was the first ever female who happened to be black to be sitting in drivetime and I hope this opens up a path for other females… I think it’s time that patriarchy falls…”
