Musician Janelle Monáe will be honoured with a Trailblazer award at this year’s 13th annual Billboard Women in Music event. The award is given to a female artist who act as a music industry pioneer by using her platform to spotlight unheard voices and break ground for future generations of performers. The awards shared the exciting news on social media.
