Chi Mhende bids farewell to Generations: The Legacy

Actress Chi Mhende is bidding farewell to popular SABC 1 soapie, Generations: The Legacy. The star made her television acting debut on the show in December 2015 as Wandile “Wandi” Radebe, a transgender character.

Chi took to social media to share the news in a lengthy post describing the role as her “best chapter of my work thus far.” She also expressed gratitude to her fans and colleagues.

Wandile Wandi Radebe Girl …. here’s looking at you, boo! ?✊? You taught me how to appreciate and accept my light You showed how to be courageous – for humanity! NJE ? To stand PROUD, BOLD WITH ?SUPERHUMAN HEIGHT? To give clarity to and measure the worth and purpose of a fight. You’ve expanded my knowledge (limitless I feel) and in the moments I have felt weak or lost focus, THIS WOMAN’S WORK ? reminded me of my own purpose, and the need to therefore drive it through to the very end.
