Congratulation to Isibaya star Ayanda Borotho who has been announced as the new Soweto VW Brand Ambassador.

The star shared the exciting news on social media sharing in part, “To my new family at VW Soweto, Bab Solly, Alex and everyone…the future belongs to those who claim it!”

HERE WE GO!!!!! Unveiled VW SOWETO BRAND AMBASSADOR . Last Friday, the 26th of April, on the eve of Freedom Day, my team @envisionbrandza and I hosted a super successful seminar in Developing Township Economies and it’s Evolution at #VWSoweto. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or getting myself into?. But I had come across a quote that says “The quickest way to start something is to start.” And so I started. We had little time to make it happen but we did it. We had more people than we wanted at the event, which was super amazing. To God be ALL the glory. On the day, Bab Solly Maponya also announced our partnership and unveiled me as the new VW Soweto BRAND AMBASSADOR. VWSoweto is 100% owned by the Maponya family, a family that represents black excellence in many spheres of business. This partnership made sense for me not just because they are black but because of their commitment to developing the community of Soweto, something that resonates with my values as one from ekasi eNtuzuma myself. I want a progressive black people. Soweto spends R5billion per annum…where does it go if it’s not developing the people who live in it? The question is the same for Kwa Mashu, Gugulethu…we are the economy yet we don’t own it. It must change! I want to thank Tumi my manager for her relentless commitment to me and my vision. The entire Envision Brand team under the leadership of Jasmine…Lilitha, Sandile and Busi. Thank you to everyone who made it to the seminar, you were an amazing audience!
