Gerry Eldson reminisces about her wedding day

Businesswoman and media personality, Gerry Eldson celebrated her 9 year wedding anniversary yesterday and to mark the occasion she took us all on a walk down memory lane. She shared never seen before pictures and memories from her wedding day in 2007.

27 April, 9 years ago friends and family had congregated on the eve of our nuptials at The Manor House of Vrede en Lust Wine Estate, Franschhoek. While we attempted to choose an appropriate ‘wedding song’ a light rain came down on the vines surrounding us. Mum witnessed my anxiety and said ‘wake up before sunrise if you see stars,the sky is clear and your wedding day will be sun kissed ‘

28 April 2007, 10am I called my Designer who should have been landing in Cape Town with my wedding gown… and he wasn’t picking up…
