HITS
Bonang Matheba
Bonang was the red carpet host. There isn’t much we can say except that this dress was made for her. She worked it.
Khanyi Mbau and Tumi Morake
Khanyi gets a 10 out of 10 for her banging body, though we aren’t too taken by the dress. Tumi looks gorgeous – can you believe she just gave birth recently?
Tina Jaxa
Tina picked up two awards “Best Actress in a TV Drama” for her role as Nokuthula on Intersexions 2 and “Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film” for her role as the head mistress on Of Good Report. We want her secret to looking this flawless after 30 years in the industry. She still looks the same as she did in Generations back in the early 90’s!
Lillian Dube
Lillian kept it nice and simple and was one of our best dressed, proving that age aint nothing but a number!
Terry Pheto and Mampho Brescia
Best buddies Mampho and Terry wear both wore David Tlale. The ladies look out of this world. We couldn’t take our eyes off Terry!
Thembi Nyandeni
Isibaya’s Thembi did her “Best Actress in a TV Soap” accolade proud in this eye-catching red number!
MISSES
Amanda Du Pont
We aren’t too sure about Amanda’s dress, it’s too matric dancey! Her make-up and hair looks amazing though.
Bubu Mazibuko
Everything is just wrong: the dress, the colour, the cut and the hair.
Jessica Nkosi
It seems like the lace curtain look was trending at this year’s awards, but just because everyone is doing it, doesn’t make it right!
Tango Ncetezo
Another lace curtain look? We love the top part of the dress, but the rest? We’re not big fans!
Nomzamo Mbatha, Mdu Gumede and Mampho Brescia
Mdu looks nice, we hardly see him out. Nomzamo came out with her twins, but she also tried and failed at pulling off TLCL (The Lace Curtain Look)!
Zakhele Mapondo
We have never seen Zakhele on the red carpet and when he did come out, he disappointed. The suit could’ve been more “tailor made” but we do like the blazer.
