Celebs With Perfect Curls

by Keletso Modisakeng

Loose curls are a great hair trick that doesn’t take time and works no matter the length of your hair. These curls are understated and perfect for looking glamorous without cutting or colouring.

Here are some of our favourite celebs who have nailed the perfect loose curls:

Queen B shows us how to add character and a different look to short hair by adding loose curls. This works best when your hair has highlights that will show different colours.

A lazy day doesn’t have to be a bad hair day. As seen on Lerato, loose curls can be done to the bottom of your hair just to add flair.

The songstress glamourises her curls and gives them a dramatic finish. The bigger the curls, the longer they will last. Keep your curls tight for an event and only loosen them thereafter using your fingers.

Here are some tips to your perfect curls…

  • Stretch your curls and coils using a hair straightener.
  • Always apply a heat protection product to your hair when curling.
  • Use your fingers to ruffle the hair to loosen the curls.
  • Loose curls have the tendency to fall flat after a few days, so apply a curl reviver product to keep them in shape.
  • If the hair is naturally curly, use water to revive the curls.
