Beauty At The SAFTAS

by Keletso Modisakeng

The Golden Horns, formally known as the South Africa Film and Television Awards, honour local talent making waves on our screens. Their acting skills may be award-winning but, sadly, their beauty might have been off beat.

If this is what “pregnancy gives you a glow” looks like, then we want it! Enhle looked breathtaking with her Grecian goddess braided weave and a clean face. This hairstyle is easy to achieve with a long weave or braids.

The dragon lady had long loose curls, a matte nude lip and dark eye. We love her middle parting which complements her heart-shaped face.

Sigh… We’ve all had a bad day, and this was clearly not Masechaba’s day. Besides her perfectly arched eyebrows, the rest of her make-up was off beat. She didn’t put much effort into her look or hair.

Minnie Dlamini and Khanyi Mbau

We love everything about these two ladies! The no make-up look suits Khanyi because she has flawless radiant skin. She finished her look off with a clear shaded lipgloss, while Minnie had a smokey eye with a golden shimmer inner corner. Minnie should play around more with blonde hair as it suits her skin and the fringe completes the image.

Thando Thabethe

The radio presenter and actress was our favourite look for the night. Thando had an up-do hairstyle which was complemented with a blonde highlight in the front. Red lips are a timeless trend and she wore it well.

Thembi Seete

The songstress and actress had her usual lace-front weave. We wish she styled it and added character to it instead of leaving it dead straight as is.

Thomas Gumede

Is Thomas auditioning to be new member of Threesome? The blonde hair is wrong on all levels! We hope he shaves his hair soon.
