Shauwn Mkhize addresses ex-husband over alleged fraud complaint: “Go out and work”

South African businesswoman and philanthropist Shauwn ‘MamMkhize’ Mkhize recently took to social media after receiving a letter from a journalist informing her of a fraud complaint allegedly filed by her ex-husband, Sbusiso Mpisane, and put him on blast.

Shauwn Mkhize has had enough

The business mogul shared a screenshot of a letter from an investigative journalist who was reaching out in preparation for a news report. A portion of the letter read:

“I am preparing a news report concerning a fraud complaint opened by Wiseman Sbu Mpisane at Durban North police station under CAS 165/10/2026 on October 15 2026.”

The letter further explained that the fraud claim was filed concerning a disputed property transaction involving a farm known as Royal Ranch. MamMkhize responded with a long letter, expressing that she had had enough and was breaking her silence.

“I have never used the media to speak negatively about you or to damage your reputation, and I have no intention of doing so now,” she started.

She then expressed her disappointment that their issues seem to be addressed through the media rather than the proper channels, adding:

“I believe the justice system should be allowed to establish the facts and let justice take its course.”

As her rant continued, she explained that she worked hard for her wealth and wished he had done the same after noting the hard work and sacrifices people, specifically men, have made to build the lives they have.

“I have worked hard for what I have built, and I will not continue to have my name and reputation dragged into public disputes. After everything that has already been taken, I wish the same energy had been channelled into building something of your own,” she said.

“I left you with Royal Eagles Football Club, our matrimonial home in La Lucia and a fleet of exotic cars. As if that was not enough, you were left with all of this despite never having worked for it. Please now go out and work, as other men do.”
