Lasizwe’s awkward date with Mr JazziQ leaves Mzansi in stitches

South African media personality Lasizwe Dambuza and record producer Mr JazziQ went on an Awkward Date, and their chemistry was off the charts.

The amapiano DJ recently appeared as a guest on Lasizwe’s YouTube show, Awkward Dates, where the two shared hilarious moments seen in short clips posted on the media personality’s TikTok account. One clip included Lasizwe jokingly receiving a call to inform him that his dog had been run over by a bicycle.

The record producer initially reacted to the ‘news’ in shock, trying his best to hold back his laughter. While trying to comfort the seemingly distressed Lasizwe and asking if the dog was okay, Lasizwe’s exaggerated reaction had the DJ breaking into laughter.

The exchange, while JazziQ is laughing, adds to the humorous moment as he apologised through his explosive laughter and tried to offer solutions.

The show is known for its dry humour, with the host drawing laughs by putting his guests in hilariously awkward situations.

The light-hearted moments don’t end there, with another clip showing the music producer sharing some of his experiences dealing with the infamous rats of Alexandra.

“The problem is, you guys don’t understand. When you come across the rat, you are the one that needs to turn around, not it,” he said.

The two then exploded into laughter. The episode left many viewers laughing in the comments as they enjoyed the DJ’s naturally funny demeanour and his reactions to Lasizwe’s banter.

“He took so long to laugh”, one commented.

“I won’t lie, there needs to be a second date, please. Cause they got me laughing each and every single minute,” another commenter wrote.
