Ndlala, widely known as the husband of Metro FM presenter Lerato Kganyago, was taken into custody following court proceedings related to an ongoing legal dispute involving model and media personality Thandi ‘Blue’ Mbombo.
The dramatic scene unfolded in full view of court attendees, sparking intense media attention across digital and social platforms.
High-drama arrest outside Court 20
Ndlala had been attending the domestic court for a civil protection order hearing applied for by Blue Mbombo, which was subsequently postponed to December. However, as he exited the courtroom area near Court 20, South African Police Service (SAPS) officers moved in to execute an arrest connected to separate charges of intimidation and extortion.
According to eyewitness reports and media accounts, Ndlala attempted to evade officers before police rapidly caught up with him and bundled him into an awaiting vehicle.

The sudden apprehension directly contradicted previous assertions shared on social media by Ndlala suggesting that the legal threats against him had been dropped.
Legal representatives for the parties, including attorney Chris Molefi, noted that they were awaiting formal public statements from authorities before commenting further on the unfolding criminal proceedings.
Public reaction and ongoing legal scrutiny
The high-profile arrest immediately sent shockwaves across social media platforms, with X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok users expressing astonishment at the dramatic turn of events.
Commentators highlighted the volatility of the ongoing legal battle between Ndlala and Mbombo, which encompasses distinct matters ranging from civil protection orders to separate criminal investigations and civil defamation actions.
As law enforcement continues to process the case, the latest development underscores the intense public scrutiny surrounding celebrity legal battles in South Africa’s judicial system.
