UK rapper Dave appreciates South African crowd after epic performance

After UK rapper Dave performed at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on Saturday, 3 October 2026, followed by his Cape Town show at the Grand Arena at GrandWest on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, he expressed his appreciation for the amazing crowds.

His comments prompted concertgoers to share videos of their experiences at the shows.

“Craziest show ever”

Dave took to his X account and tweeted a short message about his time in South Africa. Fans’ videos showed the crowd singing the rapper’s songs word for word and giving off an incredible vibe.

This marked Dave’s debut performance in South Africa, where he received a warm reception, with both his Pretoria and Cape Town shows selling out.

Dave addresses his South African fans

The 28-year-old rapper had a few warm interactions with the crowd. At the Pretoria show, he shared that he had seen all his fans’ messages saying “come to SA.”

“You might see me at Spur, you might see me in Jo’burg, you might see me outside your township.” The rapper commented.

Last night, at his Cape Town show, he shared another warm interaction with the crowd.

“Seeing as it’s been about 11 years that we have been looking to be with each other, I feel like it’s only right to celebrate,” he said emotionally.
