Canadian R&B duo DVSN and American singer-songwriter Eric Benet are set to join the Ndlala Grandeur line-up alongside headliner Tamar Braxton this coming December.

DVSN is coming back to SA
The official Ndlala Arena Instagram page announced that the Canadian R&B duo will be performing at the Ndlala Grandeur season one showcase on the second night of the event, on 17 December 2026. This marks their second performance in South Africa, following last year’s performances in Cape Town and Johannesburg for the Once Upon A Time concert series.
Singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 are fulfilling a promise made to fans last year of their return to the country. The two young men have made a name for themselves since their debut album in 2016. They have worked with big names such as Drake, PartyNextDoor, Ty Dolla $ign, Summer Walker, and Jessie Reyez.
“And they said they are going to come back,” a commenter on Instagram shared, expressing her excitement over the news.

Eric Benet joins the line-up
The singing legend will be expected to perform on 20 December 2026. The Georgy Porgy hitmaker is a major name in R&B with a career spanning decades.
Hits like Spend My Life With You, Sometimes I Cry and Love Don’t Love Me bring the classic R&B sound many South Africans grew up with, whilst DVSN brings the contemporary sound that young South African R&B listeners have become accustomed to.
His addition to the showcase solidifies the Ndlala Grandeur showcase’s already established image as a quality event that celebrates the genre. Beyond that, it showcases the broad celebration of R&B as a genre.

The five-night concert series will be hosting big names both locally and internationally, as DVSN and Eric Bennet join headliner Tamar Braxton and co-host Ricco Ross, amongst a growing list of names.
