The drama continues as Married At First Sight Mzansi couple Nompulelo and Hlulani find themselves in an explosive argument the night before their last time at the apartment provided by the show.
The latest episode was the last time the couples would be together until the recommitment ceremony, and some couples left on better notes than others.

Lunchbox leads to separation
The youngest couple seemed to have mended their issues; laughter and warmth filled the household until one awkward joke triggered an explosive argument. During a casual conversation, Nompumelelo brought up an issue she had with Hlulani.
She mentioned the lunchbox Hlulani brought home after visiting his sister, sharing her confusion about why the portions were for one person when his family knows he has a wife. Nompulelo shared in her confessional that she tried to lightly bring up the issue to avoid making him feel attacked.
Her efforts were in vain as Hlulani was immediately triggered and still felt attacked, leading him to pack up and leave the apartment complex.
South Africans take sides
Viewers shared their opinions on X, with many siding with Nompumelo this time. Many viewers gave her the credit she was due as they felt she handled her concerns much better than in previous tiffs.

Others still side with Hlulani, claiming that Nompumelelo’s timing seemed a bit suspicious. During the episode, they showed CCTV footage of the couple being happy on the weekend with no signs that she of issues between them.
Mpumi, the producers caught you in 4k. They showed how you guys were happy two days ago.

Trouble still in paradise
Nompumelelo and Hlulani are not the only couple stressing out viewers. Once again, Prince and Esethu are having problems after the problematic couple returned from their last date on the show. The couple welcomed the experts into their home to address a very big elephant in the room: Prince’s customary marriage.
The experts explained that Prince needed to handle the matter in court, and as things stand, Esethu is a second wife. This, along with the messages Esethu found on Prince’s phone between him and the customary wife, left Esethu heartbroken.
Viewers are hardly surprised, and many unfortunately don’t feel sorry for her, considering she had the opportunity to leave just two episodes ago.
