Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has paid the price for losing a bet after revealing a dramatic new look following the team’s series victory over the All Blacks.

Erasmus took to social media on Sunday alongside Springbok scrum coach Daan Human, with both men sporting freshly shaved heads.
Keeping the details of the wager to himself, Erasmus captioned the picture simply: “The prize of a bet.”

It remains unclear what the pair were betting on, but the timing comes just a day after the Boks wrapped up a memorable 3-1 series victory over the All Blacks in Baltimore.
The win at M&T Bank Stadium completed a hugely successful four-Test instalment of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry.

Erasmus and Human have worked together in the Bok coaching set-up for several years, with former prop Human overseeing a scrum that has become one of the team’s major strengths.
Whatever was at stake, the wager clearly came at a cost for both coaches – although it should at least mean considerably less time spent in front of the bathroom mirror.
