The actress and media personality recently shared the news with her followers, expressing her excitement as the long-awaited book prepares to reach readers.

“The wait is finally over!!! I’m so excited to share that my book, From One Mother to Another, will be releasing at the end of August,” Ntando announced.

The book is written alongside author Zibu Sithole and promises to take readers beyond the polished image of parenting often seen on social media.

A different perspective on motherhood

According to the book’s official synopsis, From One Mother to Another explores Ntando’s journey of self-discovery as she navigates motherhood, public scrutiny and the process of unlearning experiences from her own upbringing.

The book explores what it means to intentionally become the mother she always wanted to be for her children.

Ntando’s announcement describes the project as one that “strips away the Instagram-perfect myths of parenting”, instead focusing on the realities of healing while raising a family.

The book aims to validate the struggles mothers experience while offering tools and encouragement to help readers build the kind of family environment they want despite their circumstances.

A story of healing and breaking cycles

At the heart of the book is a message about confronting the past and making intentional choices for the future.

The official synopsis reveals that Ntando grew up in circumstances where love was complicated by violence and emotional absence. Her story follows the process of navigating those experiences, unlearning what no longer serves her and creating a different experience for her own children.

The project therefore extends beyond traditional parenting advice, touching on themes of self-discovery, healing, family and personal growth.

Written with Zibu

Ntando is collaborating with writer Zibu on the book. Publisher Pan Macmillan lists both Ntando and Zibu as the authors of From One Mother to Another.

The collaboration brings together Ntando’s personal experiences and Sithole’s writing expertise to create a book aimed at mothers navigating the realities of family life.

Coming at the end of August

Ntando previously revealed that the book would launch on 29 August 2026, coinciding with her 31st birthday.

However, Pan Macmillan currently lists 1 September 2026 as the publication date, while other booksellers list dates around the end of August or beginning of September.

For now, fans can look forward to getting their hands on a project that promises to offer an honest look at the highs, challenges and emotional realities of motherhood.

With its focus on healing, resilience and creating a different future for the next generation, From One Mother to Another is set to be a deeply personal addition to Ntando’s growing body of work.
