DJ Sbu breaks silence after Ntsiki Mazwai calls him out

DJ Sbu has responded after poet and media personality Ntsiki Mazwai called him out on social media, accusing the radio personality of telling the public that she was drunk.

Ntsiki took to social media to express her frustration, saying she does not drink and questioning why DJ Sbu would make such a claim about her.

DJ Sbu responds

The controversy began after comments attributed to DJ Sbu sparked a reaction from Ntsiki.

In her post, Ntsiki addressed Radio 2000, saying she did not appreciate DJ Sbu telling the public that she was drunk when, according to her, she does not drink.

She also suggested that the comments were linked to her expressing her sexuality, adding to the criticism directed at the radio personality.

Ntsiki’s post quickly attracted attention online, with some social media users calling for DJ Sbu to apologise for the remarks.

‘I don’t want no smoke’

DJ Sbu has since addressed the controversy, appearing to distance himself from any intention of attacking Ntsiki.

The MoFaya founder said he does not want conflict with Ntsiki and denied that he was speaking badly about her.

“I don’t want no smoke,” DJ Sbu said, making it clear that he did not want the situation to escalate.

His response comes as the exchange continues to generate discussion among social media users, with reactions divided over what was said and how it was interpreted.

Ntsiki Mazwai stands her ground

Ntsiki’s original comments have continued to circulate online, with the poet making it clear that she was unhappy about the remarks attributed to DJ Sbu.

The incident has once again sparked conversations around public figures commenting on one another, and the way statements made on radio or social media can quickly turn into public disputes.
