Popular content creator and podcast host Lungelo KM has revealed that he does not see himself remaining in podcasting forever, saying he has bigger ambitions beyond the medium.

Speaking during an interview with broadcaster Relebogile Mabotja, Lungelo reflected on his career journey and why he believes podcasting is just one chapter of his life rather than the final destination.
Podcasting was never the end goal
Lungelo explained that although podcasting has opened many doors for him, he never intended for it to define his entire career.
He shared that he has always viewed the platform as a vehicle to tell impactful stories, inspire meaningful conversations and create opportunities that extend beyond digital content.
According to Lungelo, it’s important to recognise when it’s time to evolve instead of staying in one space simply because it has become comfortable.
“A lot of work that you do on camera means that people are entitled to you, to who you are, to what makes you happy and what makes you tick. To being questioned about being doing something that is fighting for people and having those very people be against you,” said Lungelo.

Lungelo KM wants to keep growing
The founder of Engineer Your Life said he has ambitions going far beyond hosting interviews.
While he did not reveal exactly what his next move will be, he said he wants to pursue ventures that allow him to continue growing personally and professionally, rather than being known only as a podcaster.
Lungelo believes people should never be afraid to reinvent themselves if it means moving closer to their purpose.
Success means embracing change
During the conversation, he spoke about the importance of personal growth and remaining open to new opportunities.
He noted that many people become attached to one title or profession, but he hopes to build a legacy that extends beyond podcasting and reflects his various passions.
For Lungelo, success is about continuously evolving and refusing to limit yourself to one path.
Grateful for the journey
Despite hinting that his time in podcasting may eventually come to an end, Lungelo expressed gratitude for everything the platform has brought into his life.
He acknowledged the support of his audience and credited podcasting with helping him connect with influential people and share stories that matter.
While there’s no indication that he’s stepping away anytime soon, Lungelo made it clear that he sees podcasting as part of a much bigger vision for his future.
