The artist, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, appeared in court where he sought to be released on bail pending the continuation of his case. However, the court ruled that he would remain in custody.

Bail application dismissed

During the proceedings, the court considered the arguments presented by both the defence and the State before dismissing the bail application.

The prosecution opposed bail, arguing that there were sufficient grounds for the accused to remain in custody while the matter continues through the courts.

After weighing the submissions, the court found that the requirements for granting bail had not been met.

Shebeshxt remains in custody

With the latest ruling, Shebeshxt will continue to be held in custody until his next scheduled court appearance.

The matter has attracted significant public interest, with fans closely following developments in the rapper’s case.

Legal proceedings continue

The denial of bail does not determine Shebeshxt’s guilt or innocence. It simply means the court has decided he should remain in custody while the criminal proceedings continue.

The case will return to court at a later date, where further proceedings are expected to take place.

Public reacts

Following news of the ruling, social media was flooded with reactions from fans and members of the public. While some expressed disappointment that the artist was denied bail, others said they would allow the legal process to run its course.

As the case continues, all eyes remain on the upcoming court proceedings, where more details are expected to emerge.
