Emtee and Nandi Ndathane make things ‘permanent’

Both the award-winning rapper and Nandi, a former Idols SA contestant, took to their Instagram Story to debut their new tattoos. The songstress reshared Emtee’s Story, which read, “Match made in heaven.”

While Emtee, real name Mthembeni Ndevu, had ‘Nandi’ on his wrist, Ndathane had ‘Hustle,’ a nod to the rapper’s nickname, on hers.

It is unclear when the couple got their tattoos, but it remains evident that their feelings for each other continue to grow.

Business or pleasure?

The pair have also collaborated on a song, Buya, translating to ‘come back’ in isiZulu, which focuses on love, healing, reflection, and emotional vulnerability.

Emtee, who spoke about his contribution on the track, explained that his thoughtful verse came from a genuine place of introspection. He added that it drew on the emotional highs and lows he had experienced in recent years. Buya allowed for the rapper to express his feelings of longing, growth, and personal transformation.

Emtee and the mother of his children, Nicole Chinsamy, have had intense fallouts that the public has witnessed, with Emtee even claiming that Chinsamy tried to end his life and was a devil worshipper.

With their rocky relationship hopefully left in the past, Emtee and Ndathane’s future together looks seemingly bright to the public eye, a major contrast to what fans have previously seen.
