The live recording of the viral video, posted on various social media platforms, took place after Canada beat the national soccer team 1-0 during the Round of 32, ultimately kicking Bafana Bafana out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reports The South African. The team’s run in the international tournament was historic, as it was the first time they reached the knockout stage.
During an interview with FIFA, Mokoena, visibly sad at the loss, said, “It was very tough, eish! The way we conceded that goal. Even me, I felt f*ck.”
Once he realised his innocent yet hilarious blunder, Mokoena quickly put his hand in front of his mouth and said, “Tjo!”
