Stellenbosch FC continues to strengthen their squad with the signing of defender Thabiso Lebitso on a long-term contract from Orlando Pirates, adding experience and depth ahead of the upcoming season.

A great move for Thabiso Lebitso
The move marks a new chapter for Lebitso, who will now join one of the Premier Soccer League’s powerful teams, Stellenbosch FC. The club has continued to build a competitive squad in recent seasons, focusing on attracting quality players capable of contributing both domestically and in continental competition.
According to Stellenbosch FC’s website, CEO Rob Benadie said, “Lebitso is a player who has consistently demonstrated his quality at the highest level of South African football and brings a valuable mix of experience and versatility to our squad.
“As a club, we continuously aim to improve and compete at the highest level, and the addition of a player of Thabiso’s calibre strongly reflects that ambition.”

Lebitso arrives with valuable top-flight experience and is expected to bolster Stellenbosch’s defensive options.
