Taking to Instagram, Gail expressed her pride and admiration for her sister’s resilience, reflecting on the personal challenges she has overcome throughout her life.

A journey marked by loss and strength

In an emotional post, Gail recalled the devastating losses her sister endured at a young age. She revealed that her sister was just 17 years old and in her first year of tertiary education when the family lost their brother.

Tragically, six months later, they lost their mother, and when her sister was only 24, their father also passed away. Despite these heartbreaking experiences, Gail said she watched her sister continue to push forward and pursue her goals.

“This girl right here… I have watched you navigate life through some of its highest highs and deepest lows, and still keep fighting against all odds. I’ve seen you rise above setback after setback, even when your circumstances gave you every reason not to,” she penned.

More than a graduation

For Gail, the graduation represents far more than an academic achievement. She described it as a testament to her sister’s perseverance and determination in the face of adversity.

“I am so, so proud of you, Niesie!!! You fought hard, and you made it. This is so much bigger than a graduation ceremony. It’s a reminder that no matter what life throws at you, you can still choose to rise.

The Unseen actress concluded her message by expressing her love for her sister and her excitement for what lies ahead.

“I love you so much! Here’s to all that God has in store for your next.”
