Media personality Pearl Thusi continues to thrive in the music scene, sharing her collaboration with DJ Mörda with fans. The announcement of her latest project,Kusile, comes six months after her debut single, Sodwa, featuring Ihhashi Elimhlophe and DJ Melzi.
SlikourOnLife explained that Sodwa gave people a more personal side of Pearl, which seems to take a slightly different approach from Kusile.

Pearl headed to her Instagram account to share the news that the track was coming soon, but omitted the release date, leaving many waiting in anticipation. She also shared a series of old pictures of herself, telling fans:
“This song reminds me so much of these images… [I] think I’ll use them.”

What is Kusile about?
According to SlikourOnLife, the actress and DJ described the song as paying tribute to the many expressions of love. It also honours her parents and cultural roots that have helped shape who she is.
Furthermore, the song explores themes of healing, resilience, and self-discovery, aiming to provide listeners with an experience that resonates far beyond the music itself.

Many internet users seemed to react positively to the track and shared their thoughts.
