by Staff Bona

Police have arrested a second suspect in the murder of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock.

The Mozambican national was taken into custody on Friday night during a Crime Intelligence-led operation in Primrose, Gauteng, and will appear in court on 2 February 2026 on charges of murder and contravening the Immigration Act, police said in a statement.

Stock was shot and killed on 16 December 2025 near the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg’s CBD.

The first suspect, 44-year-old Victor Majola, was arrested on 22 December and faces charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Majola was denied bail on 26 January after the State argued he was a flight risk, had no fixed employment or assets, and provided conflicting residential addresses.

The court also raised concerns about possible witness intimidation. Majola remains in custody, with the case postponed to 11 February 2026 for further investigations.

A second suspect has been arrested for the murder of Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras.
