Mzansi Magic’s hit telenovela, Inimba, will continue to keep Mzansi viewers glued to their screens as the channel proudly announced its renewal of the second season.

Since its premiere in April, Inimba has been one of the most talked-about shows in Mzansi, with fans flooding timelines to discuss the gripping storyline after each episode. The consistent hype also contributed to season 1 being extended by 90 episodes and earning recognition at the 2025 National Film and Television Awards (NFTA) for Best Actress in a Television Drama Award, won by Zenande Mfenyana who plays Thumeka.

The win also speaks to the level and quality of the show’s ensemble cast, which includes the likes of Lunathi Mampofu, who plays Zoleka Bikitsha, and Sisanda Hewana playing Hlathi Mabandla, both central to the story.

Zenande Mfenyana (Thumeka), Loyiso MacDonald (Lazarus), Ayakha Ntunjwa (Qhawe), Siyabonga Shibe (Sydney), and many other talented Mzansi actors ensured that the story of Inimba remained compelling episode after episode.

Mzansi Magic took to their X (formerly Twitter) to announce the news.

Qond’ba no rest for our hearts Mzansi and we are here for it! After an incredible first season, #InimbaMzansi has received the big yes for season two. 🔥🔥👏🏾
