A Lonehill mother and sole breadwinner has claimed the more than R6 million PowerBall Plus jackpot from the 14 November 2025 draw, Ithuba confirmed.

She purchased a R15 Quick Pick ticket at a Lonehill petrol station and discovered her win at the same location.

Overwhelmed with joy, she immediately shared the news with her father.

The winner says the money will go toward securing her family’s future, starting with buying a home, and she also hopes to contribute to charity.

“I’m looking forward to giving them a better life, starting with a home of our own. It’s a dream come true!,” she said.

She said that this is the largest amount she has ever won and said she hopes to use a portion of the money to uplift others.

“I am excited to use some of it to make someone else’s life better through charity work.”

She added:  “I will definitely continue to Phanda, Pusha, Play!”

Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza congratulated her, saying the win shows how life-changing the lottery can be, and urged other players to check their tickets as additional prizes were won.

Ithuba has provided the winner with counselling and financial guidance.
