Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi-Bolowana, recently shared that she has unlocked her acting career with her first role on a Netflix series, Bad Influencer.

Zozi will embody the character of Naomi, starring alongside Jo-Anne Reyneke, Zikhona Sodlaka, Sarah Langa, Mandisa Nduna, Hamilton Dlamini, Masasa Mbangeni and Cindy Mahlangu, in telling a story of a single mother and a luxury bag counterfeiter who finds herself teaming up with a self-obsessed influencer to sell her bags and scrape her way out of debt.

Excited about her first acting gig, Zozi took to her Instagram page to share her pictures in character, and Netflix billboards. Captioning her post, she said: “The cat’s out the bag! Meet Naomi, on the new series, Bad Influencer coming to Netflix on 31 October. Chile, her smirk already has me stressed. I’m so proud of my first series role. The show is incredible, the cast is impeccable! You’re gonna love it all. I hope you’re sat,” she penned.
