Every child’s dream is to one day repay their parents for the years of sacrifices made to get them to where they are. For 19-year-old singer Naledi Aphiwe, the opportunity to do so came sooner than expected.
The talented singer and songwriter recently surprised her parents with a beautiful home renovation at their house in Inanda, KwaZulu-Natal.
Taking to social media, she shared a video of the transformation process showing off their fully tiled kitchen, along with built-in cupboards and a PVC installed ceiling, complemented by LED lights.
“Renovating my home, I’m proud of myself. Big girl, big moves,” she captioned.
Meanwhile, she later urged her followers to continue supporting her, adding that she plans to continue making improvements at her childhood home.
“I would not be here if you guys weren’t here to support me.”

Many rushed to the comments, sharing their thoughts on the recent achievement.
In a similar post shared on Instagram, one person commented, “A 2006 doing big girl moves, I’m inspired,” while another added, “Well done, mama. God bless you, kwandee.”
The singer first rose to prominence when a video of her singing went viral, which was posted by her teacher.
This same video was later sampled by a multi-award-winning American singer for his song Shooter on his 11:11 album, and the rest was history.
During his two-night performances at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, the duo had their first interaction.
Captioning her post at the time, she wrote: “He just said he appreciates me. Thank you so much, Breezy, for everything. I appreciate you, too. I had the best birthday ever.”
