Advocate Teffo changes tune about Kelly Khumalo – Mzansi is concerned

Mzansi has displayed concern and confusion as the disbarred advocate Malesela Teffo now sings a different tune about Kelly Khumalo and the Senzo Meyiwa case.

Last week, Teffo shared his views citing that songstress Kelly Khumalo, who was Senzo’s girlfriend at the time, shot him by mistake. He alleged that the late star was shot with a gun that was brought by Longwe Twala; Zandile Khumalo’s then boyfriend.

Teffo was adamant and stated on
Podcast and Chill that he had seen an affidavit by Longwe which was signed at the police station, correlating his statement.

His views on the podcast seemingly reached Kelly, as she shared in a clip that she has had enough of being accused of killing Senzo. She also added that if anyone believes she is guilty or is a suspect, they should arrest her as she is not above the law.

Shortly after that, a video of Kelly circulated on social media platforms – one where she was being watched closely by a bodyguard as she performed on stage.

Most recently, media personality Ntsiki Mazwai, took to her X (formerly Twitter) to share a video of Teffo advising Mzansi to refrain from accusing Kelly of murder.

In the video, Teffo can be seen sitting on a couch saying “I want to make a plea to my countrymen and women in relation to the treatment of Ms Nonhlanhla Kelly Khumalo. I have seen that she has made an attempt to respond to what I said on Podcast and Chill; however, it was not necessary because I was not fighting.

“Kelly is a very important witness in Senzo Meyiwa’s case. We need her to testify. I’m pleading with you to refrain from attacking her and saying nasty things about her.”

X users shared their concerns, with some wondering if he has been threatened and others questioning what changed his mind, as he sounded sure of what he was saying on Podcast and Chill.

Mzansi weighed in:

He doesn’t look ok

Isn’t he the one who said stuff about Kelly? Now he turns around and asks the public not to attack her?
