Kudus fits Frank’s vision at Spurs

Mohammed Kudus won’t solve Tottenham’s attacking issues overnight, but under Thomas Frank, he could develop into a key figure in Spurs’ rebuild, writes DYLAN JOHNSON.

Tottenham’s £50m bid for the 24-year-old West Ham forward was rejected, but talks continue. Kudus is prioritising a move to Spurs, favouring Champions League football and Frank’s track record, despite interest from Bayern and Chelsea.

Writing for Soccermag, Johnson explains how after a strong first season at West Ham, Kudus struggled in 2024/25, mirroring a turbulent campaign for the club. Still, his pace, strength, and pressing make him a rare attacking profile in the league. He’s more effective cutting inside or playing centrally — not as an out-and-out winger.

Under Frank, who developed Toney, Mbeumo and Wissa, Kudus could be refined into a Premier League star.
