South African motor enthusiasts could welcome the brand-new Toyota RAV4 into the country from as early as the first quarter of 2026.
The renowned motor group recently confirmed this in the news to the automotive publication Cars.co.za, who highlighted that there is still limited information provided regarding the vehicles’ local range.
For years, the existence of the Toyota brand and SUVs, in particular, have been an important part of the DNA of our local roads, and this year it will be no different.
According to the above-mentioned publication, the RAV4 is considered to be an incredible SUV and has placed 3rd on the world’s best-selling list in 2024. However, in our local market, things did not exactly translate in the same way, with only 1,174 units being sold last year.
Meanwhile, with so much expectation lurking, the 6th generation of the RAV4 is daring to be different and boasts several fantastic features that guarantee to provide the motorist with an experience never to be forgotten.
The vehicle comes equipped with a stylish interior as well as state-of-the-art technology features such as an entertainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a navigation system.
It does not compromise on safety, however, as it comes complete with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) package: A system of active safety features designed to help protect you and your passengers from harm.
The vehicle is considered to be fuel efficient, eco-friendly and has all of what one requires in an ideal car.
