Let’s count the many times Mac G threw shade at Minnie Dlamini

by Nomonde Simelane

The current Mac G-Minnie Dlamini has had the country split, and has had the public take a passionate stance regarding the matter. It appears this beef might have some history, as there have been various times where the controversial figure has spoken ill of Minnie.

Earlier this April, controversial podcaster MacGyver, who goes by Mac G sent social media into a spiral after he and his partner in crime Sol Phenduka took to their popular show to chime in on a hot-topic at the time, which was Minnie Dlamini’s recent break-up with doctor Brian Moniasa.

According to Mac G, who took a brief look back at her previous relationships, Minnie’s inability to keep a man or relationship potentially has to do with a bad odour omitting from her private parts. These comments did not sit well with the some, and triggered some intense backlash directed towards Mac G and Podcast and Chill. After remaining silent on the matter for some time, Minnie Dlamini finally spoke out after Mac G issued an apology, revealing that its too little to late, and that she would be pursuing legal recourse.

After some research, it appears that these comments from Mac G were not the first time he has spoken ill of the media personality. He has previously alleged many unfounded things, such as that Minnie, like Zodwa Wabantu, is a sex worker

May 2022

Backtracking all the way back to May 2022, there is an episode of Mac G speaking about how he believes Minnie has been making a living. He went on to say that similarly to Zodwa Wabantu, Minnie Dlamini is a sex worker, who paints herself as a saint sells false dreams to younger women and girls.

In the same episode, Mac G, along with co-hosts Sol and Ghost lady accused Minnie of sleeping her way to some jobs and accomplishments. According to them, Minnie allegedly slept with an important executive, in order to get a contract extension on a partnership with an unnamed big alcohol.

Adding on, Ghost Lady revealed that she had heard through the grapevine, that Minnie cheated on Itumeleng Khune, who she was dating at the time, with Quinton Jones, who would become her husband. Furthermore, she alleges that when she got with Quinton, Minnie then got involved with a DSTV boss, and that is how she bagged her show.

Before speaking about Minnie’s private parts, Mac G also accused the TV presenter of laundering money, after he inquired what she was doing to make a living.
