Midnight snack cravings? Did you forget the lunchbox supplies?

Woolworths, Uber Eats, and Engen have you covered with Woolies After Dark, a late-night shopping experience available on the Uber Eats app.

Shoppers can now buy Woolworths Foodstops at Engen until midnight – making it easier than ever to get your favourite products when it is most convenient for you.

Evangelos Morris, Head of Foodstops at Woolworths, explained, “Reaching customers later without losing quality was a key focus.

“Our cold chain technology ensures your food stays as fresh as if you’d picked it off the shelf yourself.” This means shoppers can trust that their meals, snacks, and groceries will arrive cool, fresh, and exactly as they expect from Woolies.

E-commerce in South Africa is booming, and with over 11 million online shoppers expected by 2025, the convenience of Woolies After Dark is the perfect response to changing consumer habits.

Currently, there are 24 Woolworths Foodstops in Gauteng, KZN, and the Western Cape available on Uber Eats, with nine more stores to be added before the end of March.

Woolworths, Uber Eats, and Engen are all about making life simpler. “Customers love shopping Woolies on Uber Eats,” said Cikida Gcali, GM for Grocery & Retail at Uber Eats. “This service truly elevates convenience.”
