Nanny and toddler relationship gets internet emotional

Finding a nanny is one of the hardest jobs we have in South Africa. We have seen cases where they become abusive to our kids or end up not taking care of them as they should.

When you find a perfect person who takes good care of your child it is always a win especially when it is two different races.

South Africans were moved by a video shared by one of the famous TikTok couple’s page @Shiela an Alfred. In the video, their daughter is crying as her nanny attempts to leave and lock her inside the burglar. The nanny comes back and holds her hand as they walk back into the house.

As the video continues, the baby girl and her nanny embrace each other on a hug whilst she explained to her that she needs to go home for her 2 day-off.

While her mother speaking in the background explaining to the sulking baby girl that her nanny needs to go home. A caption on the video revealed that each time her nanny needs to take leave, before going she needs to comfort the baby girl.

This video got TikTok users emotional as some shared that they missed their nannies who have passed on and some sharing views that people are not racist because they are white, it is because they are taught to be racist. This is because the white family has a black nanny that is loved by everyone in their family as it is evidently shared on their TikTok account.
