After successfully assuming her role as the winner of South African Idols season 14 in 2018, soulful singer Yanga Sobetwa has now dipped her toes into yet another one of her passions.

The singer has recently announced herself as the proud owner of a make-up company called Betwa Beauty, a company that focuses on empowering women by allowing them to look and feel like a superstar.

In 2019, the singer reinvented herself as a gospel singer by releasing her debut single titled, Promise Land. The song achieved instant success as debuted at number one on the iTunes Gospel charts.

Despite years having passed by, she continues to live a life that is devoted to glorifying her creator.

In her reflections on why she decided to open the beauty company, she revealed that it stemmed from her desire to serve.

Speaking to the entertainment publication Daily Sun she explained, “As a devoted Christian, I believe that serving God’s people is a fundamental aspect of my faith. With Betwa Beauty, I aim to provide exceptional service that not only enhances physical beauty but also uplifts and empowers individuals.

The 23-year-old singer explained that this is just another way that she plans to use her God-given talents to make an impact in this world. Meanwhile, she desires to take the brand to great heights by launching its own make-up line and expanding its territory across the country.
