Moshe Ndiki explains how mutual infidelity led to crumbling marriage

by Sergio Miller

Being a good father is now the top priority of actor and television presenter Moshe Ndiki. The prominent media personality has recently had a deep reflection on what he would want to achieve in 2025.

This comes after he recently appeared on the Engineer Your Life podcast where he reflected on past experiences that provided him with the biggest lessons. The father of two reflected on several topics including his failed relationships – particularly his marriage to Phelo Bala.

The duo had been married for two years before eventually ending it in a divorce. This comes after they experienced their fair share of rocky roads, with allegations of infidelity as well as domestic abuse.

Speaking on the podcast Moshe opened up about some of the initial start to their union highlighting how they had the same vision and that he felt ready, while Phelo on the other hand was battling with his demons.

“I wouldn’t say he was a bad person; he was just battling his own demons. I tried my best to facilitate his healing. I enabled a lot of actions in my marriage,” he said.

Among some of the dark moments of that time was that he had been cheated on seven times.

“Towards the end, I cheated because I had already forgiven cheating seven times. I will never forget. I retaliated by cheating as well, instead of just leaving. I enabled.”

He revealed that this has opened his eyes to do things differently in the future by reflecting on what he truly wants out of a relationship. Meanwhile, his sole priority for now is his children.
