With the sun being out and the South African summer season now being at its best, international travellers are flocking to the continent to explore all there is to see when it comes to our beautiful rainbow nation.
Among the thousands who have come to visit mzansi is the multi-award-winning American rapper Rick Ross. The musicians who have come over in the last year, following in the footsteps of fellow industry colleagues such as actor Anthony Anderson, Busta Rhymes, Jason Derulo as well as the R&B singer Chris Brown who made history this past December by selling out the famous FNB Stadium back-to-back with his 11:11 tour.
Rick, whose real name is William Leonard Robert II, is currently soaking in the majestic views of Cape Town and its surrounding beaches.
While it is still unclear what the rapper is doing in Cape Town, multiple videos circulating online has shown him admiring the ocean and going for walks alongside with the famous Twelve Apostles and Lion’s Head Mountain as his backdrop.

While here, he has made sure to link up with some local celebrities, one of which is Yolande Mukondi.
The reality star, turned podcaster, took to Instagram to announce that he will be appearing in an exclusive episode of her, Loud Wednesdays with Yolande, podcast.

In an Instagram Live chat with SA rapper Nasty C, Rick told the rapper that was working on an African album and would love to visit South Africa to collaborate with local artists and producers on the continent.
