Happily, Ever After is the goal in the Pollard household as the two lovebirds honour one another in heartwarming posts.
Known for his cool, calm and collective approach on the rugby field, Springbok fly-half Handre Pollard is a player who has won the hearts of thousands of rugby lovers in South Africa. This comes as he has not only made certain that his teams come out victorious in many of its games but also wrote SA’s name in rugby history by becoming the first-ever nation to win four Rugby World Cups – all thanks to his ever-ready feet, knows exactly how to strike a ball through the poles.
But while Handre has gained himself the hearts of millions of adoring fans, there appears to only be one woman that has his – his wife Marise.
The couple recently celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary and continue to show that they are as in love as the very first time they met. Taking to Instagram the Bok number 10, who is known not to be a man of many words, shared a touching post honouring the mother of his newborn son for her role in their lives.
“It’s been an amazing seven years and counting. Over the last 12 months, the strength, courage and love that’s in your heart has been at the centre of our little family.”

Meanwhile, Marise shared an Instagram reel highlighting the fondest memories of their wedding day. Captioning her post, she wrote, “Handre, You, always… again and again.”

Earlier this year the loving couple were one of many Springbok couples who welcomed a new member into their families. In April they announced the birth of their son, Hunter.

Following the recent rugby internationals, they have now returned to England where Handre plays for Leicester Tigers.
