Shebeshxt reacts to Somizi’s halloween look

South African star Somizi Mhlongo set social media abuzz on Halloween by showing up in a striking look that resembles popular artist Shebeshxt.

In a video shared by MDNnews on X (formerly Twitter), Shebeshxt can be heard cracking up as he humorously admits he could barely tell himself apart from Somizi in the Halloween photo comparison.

“He won Halloween!” Shebeshxt exclaims in the video, sounding genuinely amused. He recounts his initial reaction when he saw Somizi’s look side-by-side with his own: “When I saw Somgaga’s picture next to mine, I couldn’t tell where Shebe was – we looked the same!” Laughing, Shebeshxt admits, “Somgaga won!”

But Shebeshxt wasn’t done with the jokes he went on to draw a connection between himself and Somizi’s role in the iconic South African film Sarafina! “Let me tell you the truth,” he chuckles. “In Sarafina, they cloned me!” – implying that Somizi’s resemblance to him was so strong, that he should’ve been cast instead.

He playfully wrapped up his reaction by noting, “They’re eating my money, Somizi’s eating my stuff!”

Shebeshxt claimed that he could distinguish between a picture of himself and Somizi’s Halloween photo, as both images bore a striking resemblance to him. pic.twitter.com/z9Sbns2jlt
