The Springbok wives shared some behind-the-scenes pictures of the Bok victory at last year’s  Rugby World Cup, celebrating a year since the unforgettable day.

October 28, 2023, marked the day when the team lifted the Webb Ellis Trophy in France, on the birthday of none other than Bok star Cheslin Kolbe. With four Rugby World Cup titles under their name, South Africa leads the world in championship wins.

Inside the World Cup experience: a look from the WAGs

The World Cup was a whirlwind for the wives and girlfriends of the Springbok squad. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram, the Springbok WAGs offered fans an insider’s view of their adventures—exploring scenic spots in France, indulging in fine dining, enjoying theatre nights, and even throwing a bridal shower for Holly Nichol, who recently became Holly Le Roux.

New chapters: weddings, babies, and more!

During the World Cup, a few Springbok WAGs were quietly awaiting new additions to their families. Over the past year, the partners of Eben Etzebeth, Faf de Klerk, Handre Pollard, Malcolm Marx, Pieter-Steph du Toit, and Makazole Mapimpi have all welcomed babies into the Springbok family.

Anlia Etzebeth and Marise Pollard shared a sweet snap on their Instagram stories, showing off the wives’ baby bumps from last year, compared to all the Bok Babies now in the arms of their moms this year.
