Tension erupts after black man uses racial slur to a white man

A heated exchange between a Black cyclist and a White security guard over the use of a racial slur has sparked widespread debate online.

The incident, captured on video and posted by MDNnewss on X (formerly Twitter), quickly went viral, drawing few reactions from users debating the use of the N-word and the racial dynamics at play.

The video begins with the person recording asking the security guard what he was called. The guard responds, “He called me a nigger.”

The confrontation appears to have started when the White security guard stopped the Black cyclist in the area, though the reason for the stop is unclear.

As the two men argue, the cyclist can be heard asking, “I came here, did I cause any problem here? And how many white guys ride a bicycle here?” The Black man, visibly frustrated, hurls insults at the security guards.
