Zola Mhlongo is quickly becoming a household name in South Africa’s entertainment scene, captivating audiences with her talent. She is best known for her role on My Brother’s Keeper and her co-hosting duties on Metro FM’s weekend breakfast show.

In an interview with Daily Sun, Zola expressed her gratitude for her busy schedule on radio and TV, attributing her success to God’s grace. She emphasised her commitment to using her talents, stating, “This is only the beginning,” and acknowledging that she has much more to achieve.

Zola’s character in My Brother’s Keeper began as a makhwapheni (secret lover) and turned into being a potential second wife.

She described her role stating, “My character on My Brother’s Keeper is a very special character. I’ve absolutely loved playing her and enjoyed learning from her.”

Zola has graced various productions with her talent, including roles in How To Manifest A Man and Showmax’s Adulting.

The entertainment publication further stated that Zola welcomes audience reactions, understanding the emotions her character evokes, and noted that the criticism she receives reflects a well-written storyline.

In addition to her acting career, Zola co-hosts the Saturday weekend breakfast show from 6 to 9 on Metro FM, titled Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good, sharing hosting duties with Somizi Mhlongo, Andile Ncube and Keorapetse Hlope.

When she’s not acting or on the radio, she is actively working on her business ventures. As the founder and CEO of Undefined Shapes, she is passionate about empowering young women to build their legacies and combat societal stereotypes.

Taking to Instagram she announce that she will be speaking at the International Women’s Empowerment and Sustainable Development Summit.
