Tensions are extremely high between Big Brother fandoms as former contestant Liyema Pantsi was revealed to be gossiping about fellow housemates Zintle Mofokeng and Sinaye Kotobe who have become one of Mzansi’s favourite couple since leaving Big Brother’s house.
In a clip posted by fellow influencer Vicky Vee Jonas, where she appears to be on a car ride, Liyema’s voice can be heard in the background, along with one other unrecognisable voice. In the five-minute clip, Liyema reveals a few shocking statements, that have caused pandemonium between her fandom and Zee and Sinaye’s.
One thing you can guarantee about Big Brother stans is that they will always stick beside their favourite contestant, and that is exactly what we are currently witnessing as Liyema’s fans quickly came to the songstress’s defence, shielding her from the wrath of the ‘Zinaye’ nation.
One of the many topics addressed by Liyema was how Sinaye navigated the complicated situation of establishing a connection with Zintle in the Big Brother house while he was still in a long-term relationship with former partner Xhanti Pikinini.
According to Liyema, Sinaye claimed that Xhanti is who he wants to marry, although he currently seems to be in a public relationship with Zintle. It is evident that Liyema is not pleased with Sinaye’s decision to break up with Xhanti, citing that she is a ‘good girl’. “You can’t leave your girlfriend of 5-7 years, just for someone you met on Big Brother,” Liyema says.

Wasting no time, Zintle took to her Instagram to subtly respond to her former housemate, indirectly telling her to focus on her music instead of being in other people’s business.

Although Liyema received a deserved amount of backlash, a significant number of users also highlighted Vicky as the true villain in this story, as this was a normal conversation that should have remained amongst friends.

Liyema seems to be having an ‘I said what I said moment’, appearing to be unapologetic about being caught gossiping about fellow housemates she appeared to be on good terms with after posting a meme of a popular Nigeran Nollywood actress prominent for her character’s consistent use of witchcraft.
