The highly anticipated reality competition show, Big Brother Mzansi (BBM) is set to return for a fifth season and entries are officially open for those who are interested in having a go at the ultimate cash prize.

Following the previous successful spicy season titled ‘Siyamosha’, the popular show is set to return for its fifth season and it promises to bring nothing but exhilarating entertainment. Any person interested in entering will need to whip up a compelling two-minute clip, stating why they would be an ideal candidate for the show.

Taking to social media, Big Brother announced the official opening of entries for season 5, urging those who are interested to shoot their shot with a simple entry. Although they have not released this year’s theme, there is no doubt that the show will live up to the hype.

“It is 5 to season 5. The fanbases are waiting to stan. People want to be fed. Main characters, you’re up! It’s official, #BBMzansi is on the way and entries are now open. Shoot your shot. Not to be fumbled. Enter at the link in the bio,” the captions read.

As a reality show, the Big Brother house is a space where various personalities get to shine and thrive. There is often no formula to doing things right, but authenticity has gotten many contestants far as watchers want real people, with real stories to tell. The ‘Siyamosha’ season is a testament, as housemates such as Yolanda, Liema and Jareed quickly gained popularity for the mayhem they caused and managed to do it in a way that was true to them.
