Kelvin Momo visits the Don Julio distillery in Mexico

Born Thato Ledwaba, Kelvin Momo is a leading tastemaker, particularly in the amapiano space, where the trends are currently dominating globally. The hit-maker is currently living his best life, on an educational trip to the Don Julio distillery located in Mexico.

Don Julio is a tequila brand that has gained notoriety as a staple in nightclubs, bars and events. Their distillery, located in Atotonilco El Alto, Mexico offers a unique and informative experience where visitors can get an in-depth knowledge that goes into producing the final product. Guests can also experience delectable meals, cocktails and drinks of different kinds while visiting the distillery, offering a full, wholesome experience.

Taking to his social media, Kelvin Momo shared the news of his exciting trip, revealing that he got to learn about his favourite tequila. In the series of images and videos, the ‘Sewe’ producer can be seen learning and participating in the different processes and stages of tequila making, he also got to sample the different flavours the brand has to offer and was also treated to great entertainment that represents the Mexican culture.

“Got to experience how they make my favourite tequila, can’t wait to tell you all about it,” he captioned the post.

It is safe to say the entire experience was a memorable one for the Soweto-born hit-maker, furthermore, it is a reflection of his curiosity about different cultures because as a music producer, his sound is influenced by various cultures therefore getting more in-depth knowledge about these cultures can only be beneficial to him and his career.
